Detect Hidden Cameras: As if we were an aspiring James Bond, it is possible to use our smartphone for many tasks and one of them is to discover, if we have the suspicion, if in our house or in our work there are hidden cameras somewhere, and regardless of whether What we have is an iPhone or an Android phone.
It may seem like a spy movie, but the truth is that, above all, in the field of work they may be recording us without our knowing it – although we have given authorization for it -. And more worrying is if someone has hidden camera app android in our house without having any idea of it, but it would not be weird the case of some “voyeur” with the certain knowledge that is taking pictures of someone’s privacy.
Whatever the casuistry, or out of simple curiosity and desire to entangle with our mobile, we have two ways to discover thanks to the terminals if there is a hidden camera. The first is detecting electromagnetic fields since, in most cases, these cameras are connected to the Internet, in addition to being using electricity, they emit a certain type of radiation. This is especially useful for discovering hidden cameras in a wall or an object (the typical teddy bear, for example). The second method is detecting the reflection of light from a lens. It is a somewhat less reliable method but, perhaps, it is the best to confirm our suspicions next to the first mentioned.
But we are going to the mess, obviously, what we are going to need are a series of applications. We will start with what are called Hidden Camera Detector, that although they share a name in iOS and Android are not the same and in fact, in iTunes it is paid while for Google software it is free.
Both work in a similar way, activate the application and move around the house in search of electromagnetic fields. It is clear that if we are crossing with routers and other devices, the oscillation will vary but the algorithm of the application is prepared to eliminate those frequencies that, supposedly, are other devices. You have to go looking and when the figure on the screen exceeds 100 points, we have found a hidden camera.
The application in Android has an “infrared” mode (IR Mode) that makes it look for hidden cameras in this part of the spectrum and what we need to see is a bright white disk on the screen, although it is much less precise.
Do you think you can be being spied on? Are you going to try these applications?
Are you doing the James Bond and need to record video, voice or take pictures from your Android device without being noticed? Here 2 excellent applications that will facilitate your exploits of 007 in less than what a rooster sings.
Secret Video Recorder
This application allows you to record video without shutter sound, without screen indications, without preview , etc. In addition to all this allows you to do anything else on your phone while the video is recorded in the background and you can even turn off the screen completely and the application will continue until you manually close it.
It does not show indicators of any kind (unless you manually configure it to do so) and best of all, record video in Full HD (1920 x 1080px).
Simple Notepad (Mobile Hidden Camera)
Mobile Hidden Camera is one of those Swiss knives that everyone should have, or at least those who want to capture moments (in audio, video or photography) unnoticed. It conveniently disguises any notebook in which you can capture your reminders easily and without being noticed.
When you open the application it is shown as a simple blank screen with the option to type anything and when typing the keyword ( which you define from the configuration ) the capture screen opens with several options to start working
